Caviar Izquierda

Well hello there, it's been a while since my last post but I have so much good stuff to share, I will start with my friend Franklin Collao's new project Caviar Izquierda.

Caviar Izquierda is a declaration of identity, defined by contradiction and celebration; it's an experience in the form of a magazine. Each edition is an exquisite album of creative ideas that explore a subject from different disciplines: Fashion, Art, Music, Film, Critique, Essays, among others. With a strong sociological character, Caviar Izquierda is a cult document that registers the extraordinary in daily life, turning the personal into political, in a constant search for the genuine article. Its fine formal qualities (paper, hardcover and packaging) make it a collectable luxury item.

The first edition of Caviar Izquierda is a tribute to our beautiful city Tijuana and it has contributions from some of my good friends like Mely Avila, Ejival and Luis Garcia among others.

Can't wait to have the first edition on my hands !

Gala Gala loves Cos Cos

Today is a very important day !

Im celebrating my decision of leaving the city were I was born and grew up, Tijuana to move to the city of opportunities, Mexico City.

Life has given me the opportunity to develop my something that Im physically and emotionally drowned to it, my Jewlery collection project. I know I have to be focus and work extremely hard and I  just can't wait!

Pamela Love And Black Sheep

I'm a big fan of Pamela Love and Derrick R. Cruz for separate, but this collaboration is really amazing !

Derrick R. Cruz from Black Sheep & Prodigal Sons took Pamela Love's signature Talon Cuff and he carverd the claws out of 10-30,000 year old fossilized siberian wooly mammoth tusk bark. The cuff is oxidized solid sterling silver, with 6 small black diamonds set as a triangle on the palm of the talon. Limited to 14 pieces, numbered in scrimshaw on one of the claws.
